Players Choice Godfest 2015 (Part 3)

For my secondary account, I was hoping for a Dark Angel Metatron, a Blue Dragon Caller Sonia (Blonia), and a Lu Bu. I only had 20 stones for this account.

First 10 stones came from the cumulative log in bonus and the last 10 from the recent stone giveaways and dungeon completion. What I got was:

Bastet x1 (Total in Box: 1)

Ame no Uzume x1 (Total in Box: 1)

Godfest Verdict: Decent

I did not really want a Bastet, because I do not have any use for her, but I know she is a highly desired monster, so I won't complain. Maybe she will be handy in the future. As for Ame no Uzume, I'm pretty decently happy because she is an excellent fire leader and I have a lot of fire monsters for a potentional team. 

This account is surprisingly focused in regards to my dark monster team. Through no wishing power of my own, I was able to obtain the perfect Pandora team, and all I need to really complete it is a Dark Metatron and a Lu Bu. As any good monsters for Pandora is good for Dark Metatron, I can just swap leaders and it'll do nicely as well. Same with Lu Bu. 

I really wanted Blonia because she would go excellent with my Incarnation of Seiryuu Karin but she isn't too important. Other monsters that I desperately need for this account are Perseus and Verdandi for my Parvati team, and a Sun Quan for my DQXQ team. 

In the end, I think I'll save my stones for the next time Three Kingdom Series comes around. Most of the monsters I want can be obtained during that godfest (given that the Metas' or Sonias' are not at 1x drop rate). After obtaining Lu Bu and Sun Quan, I'll save the stones for a Hero's godfest for the Perseus. 

If you guys can build one solid team, like the way my Pandora is turning out, anyone can be set for the rest of the game.

Players Choice Godfest 2014 (Part 2)

This was the first godfest that I decided to roll as a In App Purchase Player. After having rolled the amount that I did, I'm starting to realize a few things. I'll share them with you.

 1) Rolling in Player Choice  is dangerous, so from now on, I'd rather roll during selected godfests. Why? Because hoping from a select monster of 30 (and a lot of them monsters you do not need) give more monsters you don't need than do need. I believe Player Choice is great for starting players who need any kind of great monster to start with, but for experienced players with a decent monster box, it would be better to roll during select godfests. 

2) I don't think I will be a IAP player. Rolling that much usually results in duplicates (or triplicates and quadruplicates and for Minerva a ridiculous quintuplicate!!) I'd rather save up the stones and use the amount saved to roll during a select godfest. Since godfests of certain series tend to come around every 3-4 months, you can have a good 60 stones saved up for it.

3) You only need a good 4-5 solid teams to play this game comfortably. When you roll this much, you end up with too many monsters and don't know what to do with all of them. Unless you plan on completing the whole monster book (which maybe I will), there is really no need to spend that much money on this game. 

For my main account, all I really am hoping for now is (still) another Incarnation of Genbu, Meimi, Archangel Metatron (the light one), Goddess of Secrets Kali, maybe an Isis, and a Parvati. But mainly, I think I will save my stones for a Chinese Series Godfest because I really want Meimei, and the others are just icing on top of my already fat cake haha. Plus if I were to roll during Meimei's Godfest, I would get other Chinese gods (which is always a good thing), and I can also have a chance to roll for a Kali and a Metatron. Here's hoping that my willpower holds out for that long....

Player's Choice Godfest 2015 (Part 1)

Now that Player's Choice Godfest is currently active, we decided to roll and test our luck against the Dragon. Gina only rolled once b/c of lack of stones, but I was able to roll a lot from buying stones prior and once again for this godfest. Was I lucky? Yes and no. Well here I go.

This time around, I got a lot of silvers. I was pretty disappointed but I'll list what I was able to receive and decided to keep. Gina did not like what she got, so we won't list what her roll was.

Godfest Verdict: Decent

Though I got some really good monsters that I wanted/needed for a long time, I also got too many monsters I already had or didn't need. For example, I really did not want another Minerva (I was already stressed that I had three), but this godfest decided to give me 2 more. Same with Ra, Anubis, Claymore, Zweihander, Rei Sirius, Thumbelina, Berserker Z, and Set. Now I know that Minerva, Ra, Anubis, and Set are all very good monsters with high desirability rate, but one or two is enough for each of them. I know I have two Anubis now, but to be honest, I am not a good enough PAD player to use him, so he is currently unwanted. As for Minerva, her Awoken form is amazing, but I have as of yet failed to get even one Awokened. To get three... I don't know. Maybe when her ultimates get another ultimate, it will come in handy to have that many....

On the bright side, I was able to get some of the highest used/desired monsters for players, namely Horus, Da Qiao & Xa Qiao,  (DQXQ), Lu Bu, and Red Dragon Caller, Sonia (Ronia), but I was not looking for these monster (namely b/c my team did not require them) and so they came as a pleasant surprise, albeit a small one. The Ronia I did not need because I do not have good enough of a fire team to use her. Most likely she will be added to my Yamato Takeru Team that I will someday build in the future. DQXQ was actually a good surprise since I wanted her L/L ultimate for my Sun Wukong Team. My newly obtained Venus' will also prove to be useful for that team. Horus, I did not want, nor need, but I'm sure I'll find a use for him eventually. Honestly, I would rather have used Set as my fire team than Horus, but I'm sure his Awoken form with all of its awakening will come in handy for any future team. Same applies to Lu Bu that applies to Horus. 

On the brighter side, I was able to get Hathor, Liu Bei, and Venus all of which I really wanted. Of course now I'm conflicted whether to use Hathor or DQXQ, but I'm am most likely going to use Hathor as a leader and the other for a sub. The second Venus, I was actually very happy about because I do not have any useful Light/Dark team. Now I do. The first Venus was already slotted for becoming a sub on my now relevant Sun Wukong team. As for Persephone, I can use nicely with my Durga. I wanted a Yomi badly in the beginning when I used to depend on my Umisachi&Yamasachi team, but now she will be useful for other teams. Any kind of Change the World skill is greatly appreciated so no complaints there. I'll turn one into the D/L evolution, and the second one, I'll hold off until she gets an Awoken form. 

In the end, I got a few monsters I really wanted, a few monsters I really didn't want, and a couple of monsters that I used to really want, so the overall pull was just decent.

Part 2

Players CHOICE GODFEST!!! WOOO!!!!

That's right! It's another heart wrenching, hope crushing Godfest! And this time, we picked which Gods would shatter our dreams (and our hard saved/earned stones) in a rush of seconds!!! The list the list the list? Well if you guys don't know from Gungho's official Facebook page or from the excellent Puzzle and Dragons fan website, and would really like to hear it from us (plus it'll give us something to write about kekeke), I'll present to you guys the list!!! DuM Dum DUUMMMM!!

Now personally, for me, I really want Meimei, Light Kali, and Liu Bu for my main account and a Dark Metatron, and Blue Sonia for my Secondary account. I absolutely do not want Ra or Minerva as I have 3 of one and 2 of the other. Gina is okay with anything as long as it's not a duplicate, but I know she wouldn't mind a Kushinadahime, Umisachi&Yamasachi, Light Kali, Blue Sonia, Pandora, or a Skuld. What do you guys want? Tell us your wish list! And we'll all rub the golden dragon together!!! We'll put up a list of the monsters that we did get in a later post :DDD
